Members of the Dixie Amateur Radio Club who are ARRL-VEC accredited Volunteer Examiners conduct seventeen (17) scheduled Amateur Radio test sessions, each year, here in southwestern Utah.

The test sessions held prior to the Club meetings in St. George are available for any walk-in applicant.  We pride ourselves in not requiring pre-registration to take an examination at those eleven monthly sessions (a St. George session is not held in December).  The six sessions held in Hurricane City each year all require pre-registration with the V.E. Team Liaison (see the “Schedule” tab for contact information).

Prior to coming in to take the entry-level Technician Class exam, you must utilize the FCC’s ULS system to obtain an FRN number is required as per the requirements of the ARRL-VEC (see the “What To Bring” tab for further information).

If you would like to become a member of our dedicated VE team, email us at VE@dixieham.org Please thank each of these volunteers when you see them. They all devote a considerable amount of time and effort to help serve the needs of the Amateur Radio community.
